Description: This monitor can be used by waste water discharger for constant sampling and testing the water quality at or near the discharging pipe. It is an environmental protection instrument, depending on the test of the COD needed for sampling. Programmable Logic Controller is applied in the control system with strong anti-interference. The imported touchable screen overcomes the shortage of poor key contact. Optical sub-system overcomes the shortages of traditional optical system in fear of damp and bad gases. This monitor looks elegant and operates reliable. Color comparison technology is adopted for automatic on-line testing the COD content in different waters. The unique heating sub-system can drastically shorten the time for measurement. Each test from sampling to result is only 5 minutes. The test agent for each test is very little so as to reduce the operating cost.

Features:
--The sample water under test is first used for washing monitor pipes, pool containing the specified quantity of sample water and the reaction pool to remove the memory effect during measurement.
--Unique optical system for keeping accurate quantity of sample water.
--Air is pumped into and stir the sampling water, the sampling agent is under high temperature and high pressure for fully reaction.
--New non-contact piston technology is used for less maintenance and more reliable.
Anti-interference:
After sampling, mercury sulfate is added in the solution and stir for reaction to remove the interference on COD value caused by CL ion.
Accuracy:
Customers can set the automatic calibration time (2 or 3 days is suggested). In order to keep a better linearity, two different samples can be selected regarding the changes of measurement range.
Operability:
This monitor can store up to 3000 set of data. Touchable screen and layered management menu. COD output can be a 4 to 20mA analog output, Data transmit will be through MODBUS RTU protocol. Special protocol and data interface can also be supplied in response to customers’ requirements.
Reliability:
Unique architecture is designed for independent electric circuitry, piping route and wind channel so as to avoid interference between them.
Conformity:
Under the conditions of high temperature, high pressure and catalyst, COD is cleared up and can set the clear up time. Fully reaction is ensured for the measured data is in conformity with the actual COD value.
Safety:
This monitor will be operable only with the good transparent safe protective panel. The panel can be removed only when the monitor is not put into operation. A special leakage detector is applied for alarming in time.
