Automatic magnetic erasers conduct magnetization and degaussing of shadow mask, electron gun and deflection coil in the CRT by controlling the current in the degaussing coil loop to produce alternating magnetic field with controllable magnetic field intensity. AD-1 series automatic magnetic erasers adopt AC magnetization damping attenuation to control circuit, thus causing attenuation of alternating magnetization current within the degaussing coil; the degaussing coil is designed and manufactured in accordance with long-term working condition of high voltage and large current, being safe and reliable; they also have control interface applicable to production line. Characterized by strong degaussing capability, no residual magnetism, convenient control and long continuous working time, the magnetic erasers are applicable to various working positions of production line of color TV sets below 25 inch with medium and small screens for degaussing as well as in such fields as repair, inspection and pilot manufacture of color TVs.
