 For many years, Nanjing LG Panda Electric Appliances Co., Ltd. promotes strongly the idea of “Love in China and benefit Society ”, performs the responsibility of excellent enterprise citizen, made great efforts to build a harmonic society by means of financing the people in aid.
On the afternoon of June 8, the Company came to Nanjing Social Welfare Institution, donating warmth to elderly and disabled people. The Company donated 6 washing machines, 4 refrigeraters, 2 floor air-conditioners to the Institution, providing employment opportunities for two orphans, at same time, bringing 30 disabled to have a good time in Pearl Spring Resort to enjoy the beauty of nature scene.
Along with time elapsed, the number of older orphans is rapidly increasing, many of them have ability to take care of themselves, capable of undertaking limited social work. With the special habitation in the institution, they are different from normal person in psychology and the status of schoolwork. They are difficulty to adapt to the society. Under the harsh situation of employment, LG Panda not only lightened the employment pressure of older orphans in welfare institution, but also build a platform for them to merge into the society and show their own capability. It broke the traditional way of past public welfare activities of enterprise, solved difficult problems for the government and society in practice, put the loving aid activities really in place.
