At the final acceptance meeting held recently for national hi-tech industrialization demonstration projects, the Panda vehicle automatic navigation, communication and alarm system proved to be qualified by leaders of provincial and municipal development and reform commissions and relevant experts who made up an acceptance group to carry out the audit of the project.
The vehicle automatic navigation, communication and alarming system is another research achievement among the hi-tech industries of the Group. The project has now created a series of hi-tech products and shown a strong ability to adapt to the market. The Panda PSN vehicular satellite navigation mobile terminal and PV vehicular acoustic control mobile phone terminal produced under the project were both qualified in the scientific and technical achievement identification organized by Jiangsu Information Industry Department in 2006.
The research and manufacture of E88 satellite navigation terminal under the project plays an active role in facilitating the development of our country’s vehicular navigation market; the PV01 acoustic control mobile phone is a vehicular mobile phone with the latest concepts in the industry; and the GPRS and CDMA wireless network cards produced by the company have, since 2002, served as one of the main goods supply channels for the data business of China Mobile and China Unicom, meeting the Internet service demand via wireless network card of hundreds of thousands of customers who make frequent business trips.
After detailed inspections and audits, the acceptance group’s members agreed to accept the project as a qualified, highly praising it. In his speech on the meeting, Mr. Zhu Lifeng, Vice General Manager of Panda, appreciated the support of the leaders and experts attending the meeting and made it clear that the company was to further boost the project’s industrialization.
