At their provincial technical identification meeting on October 21 this year, Jiangsu Information Industry Department invited famous professors and experts from such higher education and research institutions as Southeast University, Nanjing University of Science & Technology, and Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications to form a commission to carry out identification of four Panda projects, the Panda fiscal cash register, Panda 8423 lead-free hot air solder-reflow equipment, 450 MHZ/800MHZ personal access phone system, and “Urban public rail AFC (automated fare collection) system. Mr. Zhu Lifeng, Panda Vice-General Manager attended the meeting and introduced the achievements made by the Group in technical innovation and new production and technology development.
The fiscal cash register is designed and manufactured based on the international universal 32-bit processor platform and Linux operating system and its main function is to control point of sale transactions via China UnionPay and strictly record tax of the transactions. It can adapt to tax changes quickly and accurately.
The 8423 lead-free hot air solder-reflow equipment, conforming to the lead-free welding requirement of SMT process, uses such techniques as:
• integrally cast heating plates for heating,
• floating flexible thermal deformation compensation superior aluminum alloy guide rail
• online temperature detection,
• overheating alarm,
• plate dropping detection and alarm
• and the advantages of great heating efficiency and high heating speed.
The 450MHZ/800MHZ personal access phone system terminal is based on the domestic CDMA baseband processing chip Noah2000 with independent intellectual property right and is designed according to the standard of CDMA 450MHZ cellular system. It has the functions of making the terminal combined with or separated from card, voice, or message, meeting the market demand for personal access phone system terminals.
For the AFC (automated fare collection) system for urban public rail system, based on related technical standards of the Ministry of Construction, Panda has independently developed core techniques concerning such aspects as clearing system, operation management, security key, data exchange platform, ticket vending machine, and gates for the automated fare collection.
After listening to the reporting on such aspects of the four projects as research and development summary, product testing, customer tryout, novelty search, and patent, the experts of the identification commission made earnest audits of relevant technical data and tested some functions of related products on the site. After earnest deliberation, all experts universally held that the four new products had created multiple domestic invention patents in their researches and developments and obtained multiple software copyrights and therefore were all of independent intellectual property rights; and that their technologies had reached the domestic leading or international advanced level and therefore were of bright market prospect apart from high technical levels, hoping the Group could make greater achievements in product research and development. |
