– The independently developed shadow mask type PDP of Huaxian High Technology Co Ltd became a shining point at the Expo
From April 25th to 28th, the 6th (Wuhan) International Photoelectron Expo & Forum was held in Huhan under the joint sponsorship of several ministries and commissions including the Ministry of Information and Industry Technology. Panda Electronics Group Co Ltd exhibited its high definition LCD television, Huaxian complete 42″ PDP (plasma) television and shadow mask type PDP display screen, the digital cable set-top box, a new generation satellite television receiving system for rural areas, new type TD-SCDMA mobile phones and other products. Deng Weiming, vice general manager of the group attended the expo and took part in related forums.
A meeting for the global optoelectronic industry, the expo presented a centralized exhibition of the most advanced techniques and products in such fields as optical communications and photoelectron. Many high-tech products with independent intellectual property rights were shown domestically for the first time. Huaxian shadow mask type PDP display screen and the first 42″ (1366×768) shadow mask type PDP television became focuses for media and experts at the expo.
The leaders of related ministries and commissions and related department heads from the Ministry of Information and Industry Technology visited the Panda booth. Vice-Minister Miao Wei expressed his hope that the enterprises attending the expo pay great attention to and intensify the fundamental research, application development and industrial development of optoelectronic techniques and flat panel display techniques based on reasonable analyses, correct orientation and clear thought to boost the continuous and rapid development of photoelectron industry, to optimize the industrial structure and to improve the international competitiveness. The Panda booth received nearly 1,000 guests and visitors from around the world and was interviewed by CCTV, HBTV and Chutian Metropolis Daily. |
