Beijing Subway gates delivered by Nanjing Panda Information Industry

To complete the order of near 1,500 gates received in July, both the management and ordinary employees of the company have given up their holidays and festivals to work. The first 564 gates manufactured for Batong Line, Lines 1 and 2 of Beijing Subway have now been delivered.

Along with the successful implementation of AFC project of Nanjing Metro, the company has successfully established a base for production of metro gates, with an annual production capacity of thousands of gates. As one of the projects for 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, the metro gate production has been launched following the Summer vacation. According to the schedule for the order placed by JV, the company strictly controlled the quality of incoming materials. Particularly, it made double inspections of the modules, absolutely preventing the substandard materials from being used. Meanwhile, the company perfected the manufacturing flow and performed strict control of the in-process quality, ensuring the gradual improvement of the production capacity. To the guarantee timely delivery, the company brought quality under strict control and did well in the four main aspects as follows:
 First, in the preliminary production of the products ordered by Beijing Subway, the company did well in the technical design, compiled and perfected the process documents and controlled the quality of incoming materials strictly. Before the formal production, the process designers optimized the workflow and product processes and offered on-the-job trainings for the operators to assure the standardized operations in production and make first pass yield s of parts and qualified rate of complete gates reach 100 percent;
 Secondly, the materials for producing gates were brought under strict control before being warehoused. The materials were classified to be machinery, electronic components, or imported modules, and all of the materials were inspected in accordance with the control standards, so that only those materials meeting the control standards requirements could be used on the production line for assembly, which promised the quality of final assembly of complete gates. In spite of the heavy workload of material inspection, the company adhered to the principle that any product failing to meet the quality standard should not pass the inspection;
• Thirdly, the company intensified the site management, using modern management methods to organize personnel, facilities, material, and method on site. It also exerted effective management means such as planning, organization, control, coordination and motivation to ensure that the site production was marked by high quality, balance, high efficiency, and safety, to create an orderly work atmosphere and create favorable conditions for faultless production;
• Fourthly, the company tried hard to enhance the quality awareness of the staff and intensified the skill training given to personnel to improve their operational levels. In its quality management, the company executes the self-inspection of each station as a process discipline.

In the fourth quarter of the year, the whole staff made every effort to properly carry out the assembly, debugging and final inspection and were praised by Beijing Subway Co Ltd. In order to guarantee the on-time delivery of the products in mid November, both the management and ordinary employees of the company are busy with production so that 100 sets of products can be delivered per day, making a contribution to the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
