At their recent provincial technical identification meeting, Jiangsu Information Industry Department invited famous professors and experts from such higher education and research institutions as Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Nanjing University of Science & Technology, and Nanjing University of Aeronautics & Astronautics, to form a commission to carry out identification of five of Panda’s projects, 29″ digital/analog integrated color TV receiver, 32″ digital high definition color TV receiver, 42″ digital/analog integrated PDP television receiver, 42″ high definition multi-media flat panel display terminal, and G100 digital high definition color TV/radio receiver.
After listening to the report on such aspects of the five projects as research and development summary, product test, customer tryout, novelty search, and patent, the experts of the identification commission audited the relevant technical data and tested functions of products. After deliberation, all experts agreed that the five new products were qualified in the provincial technical identification, holding that the five new products had created multiple domestic invention patents in their researches and developments and therefore were all of independent intellectual property rights; and that their technologies had reached the domestic leading or international advanced level and therefore had a good market prospect.
