In order to ensure progress of ACC for the Metro Line 2 project of Nanjing, the Panda Urban Transportation Technology Development Center, responded to the call of “Extra effort for a hundred days for construction competition” put forward by Nanjing Metro Co Ltd. Panda reached its goal of finishing the project within a hundred days. The ACC project has now started system debugging and testing. Software design and network installation for Metro Line 2 is finished and has commenced integrated testing of special equipment. The maintenance and protection of AFC equipment and the system design are also progressing smoothly. The employees of the center are racing against time to complete the ACC system debugging by the end of September.
While maintaining and protecting the AFC system of Nanjing Metro Line 1, the center is also undertaking the research and installation of some hardware for the AFC project of Nanjing Metro Line 2. Since the very beginning of the project, the center has overcome many technical problems and finished complicated tests and experiments, to finish development and selection of hardware modules on time.
In September, the construction of Automated Fare Collection Clearing Center of Nanjing Metro Co., Ltd. (ACC system) also advanced to a crucial stage. For ACC project, the core technicians of the design group were all experienced researchers who had participated in the construction of the AFC project of Nanjing Metro Line 1 and IDC software system and know the AFC software modules well. Facing the challenges, the personnel of the general design group and encoding group worked together to overcome difficulties and realize the general design ideas ensuring the correct framework of the system. Most software modules developed for ACC have now taken shape. The debugging of system will start at the end of this month.
The construction of Nanjing Metro Line 2 is keeping pace with the operation of Nanjing metro network and ACC is connected. The southward extension of Nanjing Metro Line 1 has been reconstructed and expanded as well. At the three internal design liaison meetings, the technicians of the center showed the good visual design of the construction and were unanimously praised by experts attending the meetings.
At present, prototypes are being manufactured. The appearance of TVM adopts the front opening style of Nanjing Metro Line 1. The mechanical designs of the main frame structure and ACC modular layout plan have been finished. The ACC project undertaken by Nanjing Metro Co Ltd is likely to be finished before the end of the year.
